Table analysis

The application uses three tables: animals, shelters and foster families.

The «Shelter table» displays shelter data. It has 5 columns:

  • ShelterID – unique key
  • SheterName – text
  • ShelterLocation – text
  • ShelterManager – text
  • ShelterCapacity – number
  • ShelterTypes-text

The «Foster family table» shows the details of the show’s host family data;  it shows 5 tables.

  • FosterID- unique key
  • FlsterClaimedName – text
  • FosterLocation – text
  • JoinDate – date
  • LocalShelter – text

The “Animal table” shows the data of the animals:

Animal table data.

  • Microchip ID – unique key
  • Name – text
  • Date of birth – date
  • Age – number
  • Sex – text
  • Medical conditions – text
  • Medical treatments – text

Shelter information

  • Initial Shelter – text
  • Current Location – text
  • Photo – text
  • Photo – url

Adoption data

  • Shelter status – text
  • Guys:
  • Ready for foster
  • Adopted
  • In Shelter
  • In Foster Home
  • Ready for Adoption
  • Claimed for Adoption

Foster data:

  • FosterClaimer- text – familia en adopción
  • Adopter – text
  • Forever Family Story –  text

Information about the shelter process

  • DateOf Arrival – data
  • DateOf Foster – date
  • DateOf Adoption – data

Vet details

  • NextVet Date – date
  • NextVet – text

Relationship analysis

The Shelter table shows 5 shelters that will correspond: S-01, S-02, S-03, S-04, S-05.

From the “Shelter table” the ShelterID column is related to “Foster family table” with LocalShelter.

From the “Shelter table” the ShelterID column is related to “Animal table” with InitialShelter.

The Animal table shows a table “FosterClaimed” which is related to “Foster Family table” to the column FosterID.
